Message
At NTT DOCOMO's R&D division, I worked as a research engineer on the commercialization of advanced technologies.
What I devoted myself to most was the practical application of generative AI in the operation and maintenance of social infrastructure. As I identified on-site challenges, chose the right technology, and delivered it in a genuinely useful form, I came face to face with a harsh reality: fields where severe aging and labor shortages were advancing at the same time.
Technology can do a great deal. Yet it is also true that there are areas software alone cannot reach. I arrived at an answer: what truly supports sites where hands are scarce is technology that works in the physical world — robotics. That realization is the origin of our challenge.
What I envision is a future where robots work alongside people as a matter of course. It is not a world where one all-powerful robot handles everything, but one where diverse robots combine to match each site's needs and coordinate autonomously. Each of them works diligently, day by day, expanding what it can do. I believe such dependable robots will change the future.
As a first step, we will steadily advance R&D and social implementation starting from security, where the shortage of workers is especially severe.
Our goal is not to replace people with robots. When robots support the field, people can turn to the work only people can do. To build a bright Japan where everyone is full of hope and feels ready to say, "I'll work again tomorrow," we strive forward every day.
We will keep moving forward, one step at a time, toward realizing a society where humans and robots work together, and we ask for your continued support.

After joining NTT DOCOMO, worked as a research engineer in the R&D division on the practical application of generative AI in the operation and maintenance of social infrastructure. Across multiple projects, including industry-academia collaborations, drove everything end-to-end from identifying on-site challenges to applying the right technology and commercializing it through agile development. Through direct engagement with sites facing severe aging and labor shortages at once, became convinced of the need for robotics in Japan and founded ROBOTS Inc. Building on an engineering background, leads everything from business strategy to co-creation with customers, delivering technology to the field in genuinely useful forms and driving the realization of a society where humans and robots work together.
Yoshihiro Fujieda
Co-Founder / CTO
Earned a master's degree in computer science, specializing in systems software. Building on that foundation, after joining NTT DOCOMO worked in the R&D division on the research, development, and practical application of distributed processing technology for 3D data, along with advanced laser-scanner technology for construction DX. Through this work, came to keenly appreciate the difficulty of developing each individual elemental technology, the complexity of the robotics that integrate them all, and the high barriers to real-world deployment. To make this technology something anyone can use and bring it to every field, co-founded ROBOTS Inc. together with Kawauchi. As CTO, oversees product development and technology strategy, supporting a society where humans and robots collaborate through technology.
